Alpha Panareti Public Ltd is proud to be developing one of Cyprus’ biggest and best new Championship golf courses at a superb inland location near Limassol.
Covering some 2 million square metres of land, the golf course itself will have a spectacular and challenging layout across hilly countryside, with holes linked by buggy tracks.

St Andrew’s is near the village of Alassa, overlooking the Kouris Dam. It’s about fifteen minutes’ drive out of Limassol, in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains. The land is mostly wild and unspoilt, with the occasional small vineyard (which we’ll be keeping, of course). In the springtime, the hillsides are carpeted by wild flowers, with flocks of partridge scurrying through the thyme and oregano. The returning swallows swoop around, whilst the ever present hawks and falcons cruise overhead.
This idyllic landscape will be developed in a sympathetic and complementary style, with groupings of villas, townhouses and luxury apartments for private purchase scattered throughout the entire project. Properties will have lovely views over the countryside and reservoir, whilst prime locations will be able to see Limassol bay in the distance.

Alpha Panareti is particularly pleased to announce that the project will benefit from a number of ‘green’ initiatives. Chief amongst these will be the major solar energy array that will be built well out of sight in the upper levels of the area. This major installation will provide enough power day and night for the needs of the entire development, plus giving electricity to run the de-salination plant that will be built on the coast to create a water source for the scheme.
In addition, the project will have a dedicated water retrieval and processing system that will recycle ‘grey water’, to maintain the golfing greens, water features and landscaping.
St Andrew’s Golf & Country Club is one of the dozen or so approved golf developments granted a licence by the Cypriot Government, as part of a plan to create multi-centre opportunities for the lucrative golfing market. As such, it will be supported by the CTO. The licence is already in place and ground works have started on site for the golf course itself in particular, whilst the final plans are brought to perfection.
The master designers for the development are award-winning architects Scott Brownrigg, from London and the golf course, an ‘exceedingly challenging’ layout, has been designed by Portuguese expert Jorge Santana da Silva.
