Increased Air Traffic Into Paphos International Airport Announced. The budget airlines, easyJet and Jet2 have both announced their summer schedule to include flights from more airports in the UK. easyJet will add to there existing routes from Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester with flights from Bristol four times a week and Edinburgh twice a week. The new flight schedule will begin on the 14th of April Jet2s’ twice weekly routes to the Paphos airport will start at the beginning of May and will leave from East Midlands and Newcastle airports and will continue until the end of October. The additional flights represent a 31% increase in passenger numbers compared to 2009 for easyJet and a 56% increase for Jet2 passengers for the same period. German budget airline, Condor, will also be operating new flights between Paphos and Munich and Frankfurt from April until the end of October.
